Why?
The Ger Innovation Hub (GIH) is a pioneering community space in one of Ulaanbaatar's largest ger areas. We aim to nurture a community-mindset through various initiatives in educational, environmental, and health-related programming. The Ger Innovation Hub offers opportunities to play, learn, work, and solve challenges, all within a space that promotes sustainability and energy-efficient design.
GIH is a place in the neighbourhood where people come to learn, make things and spend time together. Kids, parents, elders, all ages. Many come once and keep coming back every week.

Every week, neighbours gather for story time, chess club and English club. Alongside them, people have joined cultural days, built digital skills and worked together on architecture workshops. We keep adding new programs as the community tells us what it wants to explore, with woodworking workshops starting soon.
